In order to retain the functionality of turning/tilting fittings for windows and balcony doors, it is necessary to perform the following operations at least once per year:

The same maintenance procedures are in force for other types of windows not mentioned in this manual (e.g. turning or tilting windows, double-wing turning or tilting and turning windows etc.). 

Product guarantee advices:

Your windows and doors are furnished with valuable turning/tilting fittings. Their attendance is simple and without any problems, however you should read this instruction for use carefully and keep the attendance instructions. In your own interest we also ask you to pay attention to the safety instructions.

Usage of turning/tilting fittings

Handle position for short-term ventilation (shock ventilation), or when cleaning window plates. Do not let the windows unattended!
The closing position of the handle = room unattended, ventilation not necessary.

For cases the windows are closed due to wind or draught in tilting position, or if they open or close themselves in turning position, it is possible to use special accessories.

Setting of individual parts of fittings

Taking off and putting on of wings:

User guide User guide Taking off: with the closed wing, draw out the bearing pin downwards.

Putting on: Put the wing onto the pin, close the window fully (do not lock it by handle). Slide in the bearing pin upwards. |

Alignment of the positioning catch:

Loosen the screw, shift the movable part up or down and tighten the screw. User guide Return of the positioning catch into the central position: User guide
1. Using the hexagonal key compress the spring.
2. Place the counterpart of the catch into the central position.

If the handle position has been set incorrectly: with the open wing, press the catch and it shall be possible to bring the handle into any position.

Instruction for the user

Attention! Injury hazard (squeezing) of a body part between frame and window. User guide
Danger of falling out.
Injury hazard due to wind or draught.
User guide Danger!!!Do not allow any additional load of the wing.
Do not allow pushing the wing to the edge of the window opening.
Do not allow insertion of any obstacles into the gap between the wing and the frame.

General advices for you windows

A good window can be more than a device for air and heat exchange, it is also a decorative and at the same time a construction element on which particular technical demands are laid. In addition to important care of windows fittings you should also continually check the surface of the frames and wings, glazing and sealing, and immediately repair the damaged areas. For cleaning always use usual low aggressive aids only!
