Insulation glass

Basic description

The insulation glass consists of two sheets glass panes, the distance of which is limited by the width of the distance frame. The permanently elastic cement accomplishes the perimeter sealing. This gives rise to a hermetically sealed chamber between panes containing dried air or certain gas (argon, or SP6 respectively).

Basic requirements imposed on insulating glass

Thermal insulation – as a parameter the coefficient U is indicated (given in v W/m2K )
Sun radiation protection – as parameter serves the solar factor SF
Noise protection – as parameter serves the air sound impenetrability Rw
Safety character – building safety glass, glass with resistance against breaking inward by force, fireproof glass.

Insulation glass used as standard for our products

Thermall high insulation low emissive glass planibel Plus, with intermediary frame in stainless version. The glass in question is a glass on one side of which the layer of metals and metal oxides reflecting the thermal radiation back into the interior is applied. The glass sorts with this low emissive layer restrain the thermal radiation transmission SF excessively with simultaneous high light transmission LT..

Parameters of standard used insulation glass

Set-up: 4–18-F4 / outside glass thickness 4mm – stainless frame thickness 18mm – inside glass thickness 4mm covered by a low emissive layer. Light transmission LT = 79 % Solar factor SF = 67 % Thermal transmission coefficient U = 1,1 W/m2K Air sound impenetrability Rw = 32 dB

Parameters of insulation glass we can deliver according to the customer´s wish

Set-up: glass thickness 6–20 mm – colourless transparent or ornamental glass, intermediary frames thickness 6–20 mm v provedení nerez nebo plast
Stainless or plastics Insulation glass of higher thermal insulation, filled to 99,6 % with argon. U = 1,0 W/m2K
Izolační sklo s tepelným zrcadlem Heat Mirror až do U = 0,56 W/m2K
Sun shade insulation glass
Sound-protective insulation glass, up to Rw = 50dB
